The mornings have changed from their isolated stillness. The birds have returned, their voices echo in the forest resounding with chirping and the occasional mystical watery call of a raven.
Their melodies infusing together, calling life back to life- It is spring, it is time to awaken from the slumber.
Nature does what natures does and humans do as they do.
Whether we notice or not the worm still burrows in the soil, consuming and transforming the black earth that we eat. The trees with minuscule pores take in carbon like a feast and release the air we cannot live minutes without.
All of life is working for us and together - interdependent- interwoven like roots.
To cut one thread would affect the whole. The consequence is not always seen right away, but it is surely felt. We do not live on an island of thought or action, there is always a consequence, a ripple; like a stone tossed into a pond.
These days, as the birds sing, they remind me there is still something to celebrate. Even, when the storms of the mind occupied with humanness pass through, there is still beauty here in this moment.
I join in, I sing with them.
'The days of sleep are over, it is time to rise my children. Like a sprout springing from the dark AWAKE Grow, Bloom, a new cycle is here, CELEBRATE'
We are a part of a kindom. We belong to each other.
When one voice goes silent, the chorus is not complete. If we lose our song, it is a sign that our soul has been buried or we have placed it somewhere to keep it safe. We must not forget where.
When we stop singing, and stop listening to the songs of the forest, when we cannot hear because our minds roar louder than our hearts. Then, we are in trouble. We are not meant to live in a constant storm, the ship will surely sink.
As the rhythm of spring approaches, perhaps Nature is calling us to awaken on a deeper level than we have ever awaken before.
Perhaps, she is calling us back into relationship, back into kindomship.
I love this! Listening to birds is one of my favorite ways to connect to healing nature. 🕊️🪶
